Four time Downbeat Critic’s Choice “Rising Star” category recipient Diane Delin performs internationally with her groups. She has also toured with others, such as the Frank Sinatra Orchestra, which inspired her to add strings to some of her projects. Diane has 5 cds to date, the last of which reached #5 on the national jazz charts. In addition to performing, Delin is String Coordinator at Columbia College Chicago.

Following the success of their performance at Jazz & Colors co-production at Chicago Field Museum with the promoters and performers of the Grateful Dead Reunion Fare Thee Well Concerts, Diane has taken this experience on the road with a new CD release coming this spring.

She also conducts clinics and master classes for students and educators. She and her groups have presented “informances” for thousands of students of all ages in both urban and rural areas, in residencies and community outreach in conjunction with concerts.
